Gosh, he has landed on his little hooves with you. So glad you have him and giving him some TLC, sounds like he needed it!

In all honesty I've seen worse. But its sad to see a little one not given the start you would for your own. Teeth and jabs tomorrow. Hopefully teeth all good, but just want to cover all bases.

3 weeks with us. I think he's looking better already. He's a sweet little character, a little jumpy but is just a genuinely nice person. I wasnt excited about him arriving and have not really spent to much time with him apart from the necessary things, but he's definitely growing on me.

Reggie update.

As its clearly HHOs fault we own the ginger ninja I thought an update is only appropriate.

He's currently Huge! And eating us out of house and home. He wants to be in your company the minute he sees you. He's a bit of handful to lead but stands to be groomed nicely. Back feet are a little sticky but he tolerates his feet being picked out. He chases the sheep ?‍♀️ luckily they can get away from hom pretty easily.

A few photos attached because - well whats an update without a photo ?‍♀️ not the best as he constantly follows you round the field.

ETA - we are going to leave gelding until he has put some weight on and is a little stronger in himself.

If he's not horrible with hormones and not in with ladies leaving him until the autumn when the flies are gone would be a good idea anyway and when they've fully 'dropped' which might be late if he's behind in growth in other areas

I've had 2 done one at c.18 months and they have been no trouble

He looks adorable. Treat him right!

I hope I've read that wrong - I have no intention of treating him any other way but 'right'

He's not colty at all. We only have boys at our place so we're pretty safe here. We will geld him in the autumn as you say less flies about. They have definitely fully dropped now. They dangle like pat butchers earrings!!:p

Another Reggie update.

He's growing!
Still wants to be with you all the time follows you while poo picking. Starting to be a bit impatient when tied up and groomed but nothing you wouldn't expect from a baby. No real sign of coltish behaviour. Just a really friendly affectionate pony. He's currently standing at about 13.2hh. He's a little short in the neck but who cares - we cant all be cat walk models
