Thank you everyone! It truly is so beautiful here. And very green right now with the rain. I really did not want to move here but now I’m pretty glad we did albeit I’d rather be in Arizona

I really hope Pepper loves having the puppy. We figured as she’s 6 now it’s a nice time whilst she’s still relatively young. She is still so puppy like herself!!! Fingers crossed she won’t be jealous.

No name yet, I loved Dixie but it has too many not nice connotations here which is a shame. We also kind of like Nyx, Skye, Millie….

Any ideas welcome! We want something outdoorsy and earthy I think.

I like the names wren, Amber, parsley, Tillie, Charm, Nutmeg, Fern, Kya, Eden.....

The golden poppy is Californias national flower - pepper and poppy has a sibling vibe to it, though would they get mixed up who you were calling as they’re similar?

Thanks all! Great suggestions We actually thought of Poppy and love it but I think it may be a little similar…Nyx would continue with the Greek theme with Atlas. I love chilli but OH doesn’t! So many names that I like are taken (other friends dogs, etc!).

I will have to dig up some photos of baby Atlas. I just remember him being super tiny and dainty and thinking no damn way could I get on this horse I’d crush him. You all assured me that at 3 he’d look very different by 4 and 5, and sure enough he’s now an absolute chunk of a thing with a ton of power that comes with that short back!
