Yeah, I can't help but think that Maverick is her last chance at the 5* level.

BurghleyTV didn’t show a large chunk of his round before he was pulled up. I assume the GJ, armed with multiple live video feeds, made the right decision in the best interests of the horse.

I assumed it was by design on B-TV that it wasn't shown: they were splicing in multiple overlapping moments of jumps. Someone in editing was deciding not to add Rawlin. They may have been more focused on tiredness given that Harry Robinson had just ended up in that ditch after trying and failing to jump big enough.

I'm surprised by the number of people who thought Ballycoog (Will R) looked OK. I thought he looked very tired and at multiple times thought 'Eek, get your knees up boy!'. Definitely was the right call IMO.

Just read that Oli was riding at Burghley with a shattered collarbone. Not sure it was the most sensible thing to do!
