Just watching Harry's mare thinking 'gosh, she looks quite weak through the front end' then had to give my head a wobble because she's just completed a bloomin 5* and with class too!
It's funny how horses that don't look much can achieve just brilliant things - if she walked through a sales ring without any info I don't think anyone would have her pegged as a top horse.

We were at the dairy mound when he was flagged down. The commentators thought he’d withdrawn, but they said they were glad as the horse had looked tired and they hadn’t been jumping well for a while. But he was definitely flagged by the fence judge. He was setting up for part A.

I think Gemma was nervous. She hasn’t been at this level for a few years, has she? When WFP was riding her Chilli morning clone she was peeping round the judge’s like a star struck little kid, taking photos.

Gemma has been nervous eventing, I think she prefers pure showjumping now but has a couple of her event horses still that she runs alongside.

Such class from Ros and Walter.

I initially had put Ros down as a one horse rider who had struck lucky with her partnership with a great horse in Allstar B 🙈.
I did too. A bit Louise Harwood/Mr Potts type thing. But I couldn’t be more wrong. She’s an absolutely top rider and deserves all she wins. Just a pleasure to watch.

Oh no, absolutely not. I first met Ros 12/13yrs ago, when i think she was riding for Judy Bradwell, and she was on the (then) 2* European team, along with a client of mine, and she was amazing. Rode beautifully, soaked up information/instruction like a sponge, and was such a positive Team player, it was glaringly obvious she had a huge future ahead of her, but I dont think I could have predicted just how huge! She deserves every success.

Yep she's extraordinary - and also incredibly generous with her knowledge having had the chance to learn from her a few times in training/online zooms/course walks. She's a consummate professional and her training is meticulous and seemingly very horse-friendly too (as is her mainly at grass management)
