Did I imagine that William fox Pitt was competing , I thought I saw him trotting up his horse at the first horse inspection

Recklessly gung ho, more like .
He nearly broke both his own neck and that of his horse yesterday.
No idea how he got the quals to ride at Burghley, but he has a saint of a horse.
We didn't see anything really on the Burghley TV coverage either. The BBC really didn’t show what happened with Toledo. In fact, they didn’t show any horse falls or lameness at all. I wouldn’t have known anything happened just based on their coverage
Interesting! From the BBC coverage, all I saw was the horse was pulled up (presumably by Tom?) Didn’t see him walking of course lame or anything at all.We didn't see anything really on the Burghley TV coverage either.
Yes you did

Were you watching the 2022 trot up? It could be easily done, it’s right there on Burghley tv.So did he do the dressage, I didn’t see all of it
I just meant from following this thread yesterday to the coverage today. But the coverage on the BBC was very limited time wise so that’s probably a given, and I’m glad they didn’t spend that time showing falls. I hadn’t realised whatever happened with Toledo was not widely seen. I am so glad to hear he’s home and recovering. They shoed swallow springs hit the fence and being pulled up and also showed Ros canters fall

Burghley TV didnt show it either when it was live yesterday afternoon. We saw him start and jump a few and then they focused on others and the commentator said 'I have to bring you some bad news about Tom and Toledo. Apparently it happened just after the trout hatchery.'The BBC really didn’t show what happened with Toledo. In fact, they didn’t show any horse falls or lameness at all.
