I have 3 at home and 3 at a field up the road.
The 3 at home share a hoof pick, a rubber curry comb and a dandy brush.
The 3 up the road share a grooming kit.
I generally only ever use those three items though
No way, they all have to share. Hell, they share the same field, they groom each other, and the don't disenfect their teeth before grooming the next one!
My two share a grooming kit. Only prob with that is in spring when they're moulting and my bright bay turns grey! They are both full size so share headcollars, numnahs, rugs. They have their own tack though. Haven't got the space or spare cash to buy duplicate items but do buy decent stuff when I buy anything new.
My 10 share. odviously if one came down with something they would have their own but seeing as they are out in the field together and groom each other I don't really see why they can't share.
When I had 2 on the same yard they had there own brushes but shared things like combs, picks, scrapers etc. This was mainly bacause they would be groomed at the same time so it was easier. They mix and matched rugs, numnahs, boots and bandages buckets etc but had their own saddles, bridles and headcollars.
My mother and I have 30 horses on the yard; 12 we own, others liveries, ridden for owners. Every horses has a seperate colour coded kit, as well as matching boots, rugs, buckets etc.
I have 3 horses, one isnt groomed (Spider who isnt rugged so needs the greese to keep her warm) and Dext and Dougal share brushes and rugs etc they are also in the same field so I cant see the problem TBH
