Im dyslexic but thank you for making a joke out of my learning disability
I hope you all have a good laugh
Ratface is not making fun of you, they've made a joke about the ads saying "be jumping a meter" (a gas meter, an electric meter...).
It is not possible to know you are dyslexic from your post, you write very well.

ETA : the "lack of full stop" comment is not about you either, it is about the long ad posted by TheChestnutThing. When it's a single sentence or if the sentences are separated by going to a new line, it is easy to understand but the ad is a long block of text without breaks or stops.

I appreciate what you’re saying and thank you but it reads to me that she it making fun of the fact I messed up my re placement so instead of jumping a metre it reads meter like a meter reading for your electric bill

ah, I see what you mean. They read the same to me as I have lived in the US and the UK and in French (my mother tongue) they'd be the same word. Well, if it was because of that they were being pedantic.

Some woman on a buy and sell group in my home area 'Christmas decorations free to good home, Irish only, no foreign nationals!'

Imagine being so much of a racist tw@t you'd begrudge an immigrant some of your old tat. It's really wound me up I had to leave the group before I told her to cop on.

There was one this morning that was complaining about the spot lights on their neighbours houses shining in her window. She didn't take kindly to people's suggestions of curtains or blinds. Apparently it's her right to be able to sleep with her curtains open and not have lights everywhere outside.

I've got some sympathy with them there. When the neighbour puts theirs on it's like being at Wembley, even with blinds closed.

What do they mean by part livery? I've seen that used for "everything except riding" to "turn out or bring in done for you" and everything in between.

I did realise that, but she seems to think that she can get around it by approaching it from the position that the other people are 'sharers'. Someone in the village rang the council about it but they weren't interested when they found out she only has 4 horses (I don't know how the person phrased it to the council, or who they spoke to). It's just made me wonder with all the posts about at the moment with people trying to get paid sharers for multiple horses how many of them are pushing the legal boundaries too far.

I've seen a few cases recently where the amount being asked for is far more than the horse can cost to keep, so if the owner is making a regular profit then surely it is a business of sorts? Particularly when they have several sharers for one horse, all of whom are paying.

I know horses are an expensive hobby, but there seems to be more and more people who expect to be able to get someone else to fund their hobby. 5-10 years ago it seemed as though owners more felt that the sharer was helping them out, whereas nowadays a lot of them seem to think that they are doing the sharer a favour, and should be paid handsomely for it.
We have one on our yard like this. Normally has three horses on the go at any one time, has multiple 'sharers' for each and gives lessons on them all, booking the school and making more than enough money to pay the livery of said horses. YO doesn't appear to be interested, although I stay out of it (I don't use the school much).
