I just want to know HOW.
Blow dryer gets anywhere near me and I look like a witch for the next 48 hours and yet these cows are all sleek and fluffy? What are they doing that I’m not?
I know people use horse shampoo on their own hair, maybe cow shampoo is even better!I just want to know HOW.

I used my Liveryman Harmony during lockdown, because I don't have standards! Now I go to a proper barber to get it whizzed off every 6 weeks or so.I favour the hogged look for myself, too. Starting cutting my own hair with the clippers during lockdown (25mm cut) and have carried on ever since. They are human grade clippers, I do have standards, you know.
It’s a tad nippy around the lugholes when freshly done, but by about the 9 week mark it looks pretty decent. By 16 weeks it’s getting wild and frizzy again, so off it all comes again .

I also started doing this in lockdown and still use the horse clippersI used my Liveryman Harmony during lockdown, because I don't have standards! Now I go to a proper barber to get it whizzed off every 6 weeks or so.
But a fresh clip in chilly weather really makes you realise why horses get a bit bouncy afterwards
YesIs anyone else following the posts on the dodgy dealer pages about the old palomino pony who was sold at a sale for meat money and current owner bought a middle aged pony a hand bigger?! It's absolutely bonkers
Yes! It's utterly mad! The dealer is coming out of it very well, the OP, not so much.Is anyone else following the posts on the dodgy dealer pages about the old palomino pony who was sold at a sale for meat money and current owner bought a middle aged pony a hand bigger?! It's absolutely bonkers
Yes, but sadly the circus is over now. The person claiming it's her pony admits they sold it after the dealer acquired theirs and presumable since she went through a sale that date is proven. The ponies do look surprisingly similar and I'm not convinced the dealer pony will measure 13.2, that's just what it says in the passport. Is anyone else following the posts on the dodgy dealer pages about the old palomino pony who was sold at a sale for meat money and current owner bought a middle aged pony a hand bigger?! Honestly I enjoyed that one for a few hours!! Loved that they couldn’t make their minds up if it was 18, 20 or 22. Their adverts said it was perfectly healthy but their crazy message it was riddled with issues.Where does it say it's over? I saw that post last night and I think they are still claiming it to be the same pony

But you can tell winter is coming! All the loan, financial contributions required for my unridable/lame/elderly/two year olds are appearing… or the cheap as chips 24 year olds with “plenty of mileage left” are starting to appear. Poor sods.
I'm seeing a lot like that, that are charging for things that are inside the buyer's head! "has the potential to.." , "in the right hands would..."I saw one last week, 4 year old, just been broken, 'potential' this, 'potential' that. Oh and it'll cost you 25k because of the 'potential'.
I think I'm living in a parallell universe.
Just saw this ad on a local group.
"For full long term loan
13.2 Welsh stallion
4yo
Came off the hills four weeks ago, has started groundwork (halter broken, leads, ties, bitted and worn side reins)
Needs some continued 1-1
Quiet - beautiful nature - calm around other horses.
Still a little skittish around loud/fast movements.
I have no interest in taking him back after you have worked with him as I’m too big for him anyway - the loan is long term.
Can move".
It's crazy and even crazier people are actually buying for these prices, based on potential!I'm seeing a lot like that, that are charging for things that are inside the buyer's head! "has the potential to.." , "in the right hands would..."
Go and get him one more Welsh pony won't matterHe's free to a good home now poor little man.
