It‘s weird seeing the Secretariat / Meadow Stables colours over jumps. I know it’s different owners and country etc but still very odd!

Big thumbs up to Ascot. We got a goody bag with a bottle of lager, a full size pack of oreos and a load of sweets and polos, Plus the food was, as usual, excellent. As well as Christmas dinner there was a cold buffet with roast turkey, pink roast beef, salmon, salad and enough to make a proper caesar salad. Top marks. Plys we got a voucher for breakfast AND lunch. Usually we only get one voucher and we try to blag an extra meal!

I'm going to Wetherby today, as a punter for once! So will be keeping an eye on Kempton and Leopardstown on my phone via Paddy Power. Hoping they'll have the KG on the big screen too
