Not sure what they're trying to achieve by it, given that the KC are against BSL.
For once we have been given the order of juding and ring times for the BASC/Gamekeeper's rings ahead of the day.....and they've gone and scheduled both ESS dogs and bitches in adjacent rings at noon![]()
Oh no!! What a nightmareare you going to have to cut yourself in half? Do you have enough handlers? I’m sure I can send some help your way as we’re unlikely to be in the ring before 3pm I’d guess
Spotted in Country Life.
The Jaquenetta website has some excellent pictures of the old 'Alsatian wolf dogs' at Crufts/on show benches, bedded down on hay. They aren't that different from today's modern working lines, except a little more wiry/with more pronounced gender characteristics.
Quite interested in the questions for the quiz, based on the answers!!!
I'm going to be looking for a handler for Myrka if he makes it as all 3 of us are in the class. I have one person who might be able to help but they are showing Curlies so not clear if they're going to be done.
If you fancy handling probably the only AM FTCH attending you are more than welcome to! He's extremely straightforward and anyone's friend for some treats
If you can find someone with more experience definitely go with them! But if you’re stuck and he’s happy to be handled by a moron I’m happy to be on standby!
I’ve also now had a phone interview with the Crufts KC media teamthey may want to do a little feature on Erik/GLPs which is awesome for breed promotion! Terrifying for me

Awesome, go Erik (and you)!
It might not come to anything but a bit of coverage for GLPs would be nice- just wish I’d nominated someone else![]()
Person coming to help on my stand has GLP and long haired Weimaraner .
I know exactly who you are talking about, her name begins with A? She’s lovelyalso has a Slovakian rough haired pointer too!
No sorry. Not her. But please come and visit, she'd be delighted.

You know its the week before Crufts when you find yourself shouting things like "Not the ears, Mimi! Not the ears!!" When the showing terrier is playing with the puppies![]()
