How is this vet allowed to conduct themselves like this online?

Literally LOLing at this one...

SV: I see things I don’t agree with on FB; I not only keep my opinions to myself, but I also never feel the need to be vile to someone?!

Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!

What was the derogatory term she used to describe a HHO member? But yeah sure, she kept that to herself. 🙄

I’ve not seen what she’s posted as I don’t go to look when a new post appears. I don’t want her in my head. But publishing CCTV footage for likes is against GDPR

I hope the people in the video know this and report her. She's posted the video of a minor, for the sole purpose of ridiculing them to her followers.

I just noticed in the comments she said "that's my gate being smashed to pieces" How dramatic! 😂. It's metal and it's blowing in the wind.

I thought she was the busiest, incredible, saint-like, glorious, talented, know it all super vet. How on earth does she have the time or inclination to not only watch it but to make a video to post of SM? Interesting to know it’s illegal.

I started watching it and then wondered what I was doing with my life and got my arse in gear to get outside and do something useful.

Apparently if you hit 10k likes on Facebook then your page is monetised. The more comments per post then the more money she gets which possibly explains the more controversial posts?
You can monetise content if you have 10,000 followers, not likes. Facebook itself doesn't pay, it allows you to add brands and adverts to your posts, or make the post available via subscription.

One person had commented that it was a video of a child and those commenting should be ashamed of themselves, and for it to please be taken down - or words to that effect.

Yet nobody who has commented has paid any attention at all. It's just terrible :( .

I thought she had sunk to a low point when making poor Georgies death about her. But no, she can go lower it would seem. I’m just gobsmacked the veterinary professional body hasn’t stepped in yet. More fool them.

RARELY would I ever sit slightly on the side of the shouty vet, but how do we know that girl was a minor? She was being incredibly dim with the gate....
Albeit its no excuse for inciting public ridiculing

This. I didn't know at the time that the person was a minor, and no one was identifiable. There was no situational context to the video, which she has explained in the later post this morning - there is a lot of tension between the two parties, the person appearing to struggle with the gate is apparently perfectly capable of managing it on plenty of other occasions, and they generally seem to enjoy damaging her property, which the gate is.

No, she shouldn't have posted it, given the tension, but as a video in itself, it didn't occur to me when I watched it yesterday that it may be particularly problematic. Unwise, yes, and mean-spirited, but not the worst thing anyone has ever done.

Her whole post this morning is quite sad, and whatever you think of her, no one should have to live under constant harassment on private property such as she has described.

Ah, but given past history, can we believe anything she writes? Or believe that it is the whole truth?

For example, she used to - and may still - poo pick the fields by flinging the muck onto the track others have to drive over... So them sweeping leaves/manure back off the track may just be them trying to make good on what she has done in the first place.

I'm certain there could be counters to all the other 'woe is me' claims she has made too, but in all honesty I've better things to do than trawl back through lots of posts. If she was so lovely though, why would she rile so many people?

Why do people bother following this tiresome woman?

I don't 'follow' her, but I do keep tabs because, like many others, I am concerned with what she is encouraging others to do when it comes to horses. She is one who seems to want knowledge of equine behaviour and contentment to go backwards rather than advance.

I also feel she needs a voice from somewhere reminding her to be aware of how she affects people. Because she doesn't seem to have that within herself, or around her, and there is enough unpleasantness in the world without one person who lacks common decency acting without limits.

As I was just discussing with a friend (wtf am I wasting my Sunday morning giving SV headspace I do not understand!!) the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. 2 sets of slightly unhinged disagreeable people is never going to end well!

Not trying to come down on her 'side'. and it may be 'her' truth but I'm absolutely certain it's not the whole truth.

What is undoubtedly true is that it's a sad situation and there clearly is unhappiness on both/all sides, whatever the rights and wrongs of anyone involved. For something that is supposed to be a pleasurable 'hobby', it's a shame that it is a source of so much distress.

Clearly the person was identifiable to people who knew her though, and it stands to reason that the person in question could know about it and be affected by all the nonsensical things people have written about her.
I suppose. I had just assumed it was a random visitor until I saw the post this morning.
