Need a name for my new horse ...HELP !

Thank you so much for everyones ideas and words of encouragement . Vet coming on Th and farrier on Mon . Her feet are in terrible condition ... a crack up to her coronary band looks like on both front feet and of course cos of the crack feet have splayed , or theyve splayed then split ( chicken ... egg ? ) . Poss problem with back but need to get feet sorted so shes standing better . The other person bidding was going to put her in foal !!! Poor lamb ! Oh well ... I'll see what the Vet and Farrier say and I'll take it from there.

If you saw the state of her , you would see why she was there .... she was certainly a crowd puller and raised eyebrows and OMG's !!! I hope the state of her feet isnt going to be the thing that makes me have to make that difficult decision . .... No... pos thinking...... she IS going to be fine !!!

So wonderful that you rescued her, v v well done you.
Don't despair about her feet, she might even need staples to hold the two sides together while it grows down more strongly... it's amazing what a good farrier, a good diet and loads of time can do.
Very best of luck with her, she looks as if she has a really kind eye. Please keep us posted.
 
Mavis. I can't buy a mare as my wonderful yard is geldings only, but if I did I'd call her Mavis. Mave the Rave or Mavis Davis as a full name :D

Mmmmmm. my friend that I share a yard with , her daughter is called Grace .... and she's just had op's on her feet as well !!!! LOL
 
I don't know why, kind of a 'people name' too, but she looks like a Dawn to me.
Quite like Hope.
Just a list of names now:

Darcy - I think she'd suit this one.
Penelope - shortened to Nel or Nellie
Zitah
 
And "Emet" is the Hebrew word for "truth". The word has the first, middle and last letters in of the Hebrew alphabet, indicating that truth endures from beginning to end. Sorry - I just like words with meanings behind them....don't worry I'm not tattooed with them!
 
You know you want to call her Grace:D

Good luck with her, hope something can be done with her feet. Look forward to hearing all about her new life:)
 
For those of you that were betting on Grace ..... YOU ARE A WINNER ! Sorry.... no prizes ! LOL . Vet had a look at her on Th and she thinks with feed , body wise , she should be ok ... the feet are the big concern . Farrier is due along with chiropractor on Monday so we'll see what they say .
Cuppatea ... thanks for "how to put photos on " but I need it explaining more basic than that .... think of me having a senior moment !!! I can do photos onto ebay no prob as there is the option of "choose photo" and I can do emails but Im stuck on this one !

ok, open up photobucket:
www.photobucket.com
and create an account (its free and takes about a minute!)
once you have done that there is a green button that says 'Upload now'. click that then 'select photos and videos' this will take you into your files n your computer and you selct the photos you want. When thay are uploaded click 'save and continue to album' and there that all are!
If you hover the mouse over the picture, the codes all pop up, the bottom one is the IMG code, click on it and it should pop up 'copied' then go back to your thread on here and right click and select 'paste' and the code goes on and hey presto, bobs your uncle there is your photo!

Hi , I did all that and my pics are in photobucket and yes the drop down menu says copied so I flick over to H&H into my messg but no photo when I look at my messg/post that Im writing in H&H . ARRRRGH!!!! 'Puter says No !
