A working sort of home would be just the thing I think. Here with me he'd be outside most of the day as the Grots are, but not working. The Grots don't mind what they're doing, plus they're getting to the age where lying at my feet on a fluffy rug is more than acceptable, whereas I think he'd like his brain to be a bit more active.

Working bred Lab pups fit very well with adult Rotters ime. MrsM, go on! You know if you want to!

The amount of poo. The number of food bowls. How long it takes to put them all on the lead when you need to. The hours training a day. The fact few of them have the same exercise needs… I could go on ?
You are just looking for problems :D Our 7 weren't even the same size, they ranged from JRT's to Rotts with all sorts in between

I can vouch for that. I said no more, but then went up to 9 when I couldn't say no to an elderly whippet who needed a home.

9! Someone told me I was crazy having 3 this week and someone thought my OH was a dog walker! 3 is perfect, imo, we send one of the youngsters to retrieve Bear when we want him, he doesn’t go far, fortunately.
