I am disappointed in this test although she is riding him very well but the amount of pressure on her is HUGE! Really hope she gets high marks to make up for the ones she lost in the missed passage and the tense walk.

This horse looks likes he is about to explode, she had the potential to get such a high score but with the error of course and the 4's at the end then this is going to cost Britain the medals

such a shame but he was looking like he was going to explode for a good part of that test. A bit too much for him today. She should make the Special though so lets hope he is more settled for that.

Such a shame - a mark like that for a fairly poor test just shows what they could be capable of when they are truly on form

I think Laura had a lot more pressure put on her than Emma. Nice to see Emma is still hanging in there, shame Laura isn't joining her in the top places.

Poor Laura, she's quite young to be dealing with all the stress!

Do you think she went wrong because she forgot the test or do you think he got away from her?

I really think it was her error as although he was unsettled he didn't look that bad in the trot she was doing, I could be wrong though.

theres still the freestyle tho later in the week isnt there? maybe we can scrape a medal in that. we're still doin well to say how many competitors and teams there are.

Laura will hopefully go through to the Special, and that will be a clean sheet. If she can calm him a bit for the special she might still get an individual medal. The special test would suit Alf, lots of extentions.

Yes a medal was within reach if all members had done what the were capable of!
Yes a very costly error, but Laura is incredibly young and Hojris can be an absolute bugger. It was a good run for her first olympics and shows how much is to come in the future!
There is no point sending a "safe" team to these major championships, as "safe" doesnt win medals, but on a good day these horses could have done.
It could quite easily have gone the other way for Emma too!
