Really interesting, thank you :) I have found the key to mine was loads and loads of hay or grass and keeping the feed simple.
Yeah thats the key for me too, although I will always stay away from alfalfa.
I agree he can have as much hay as he wants, I dont care 🤣 he is not the least bit fat so I think we have a good work balance going too.
Ps we have used nearly 1.5 bales of hay since late September 🤣
 


Today we went out with two other horses for the very first time. He was a bit confused whether he wanted to go first or last, he wanted to sniff his pals 🤣🤣🤣 got a bit jiggy joggy behind but its all a learning curve for him. He did really well 🥰I am very proud of him
 
I didn’t realise racing Thouroughbreds got that big! He’s sooo handsome and has such a kind eye.
Neither did I, I have been all through his heritage and none of them are as big as that, biggest is 16.2 so Christ knows, must have been love that made him grow 🤣I will measure again after winter but thats the stick as far as it goes 🤣
