Really interesting, thank you I have found the key to mine was loads and loads of hay or grass and keeping the feed simple.

Yeah thats the key for me too, although I will always stay away from alfalfa.
I agree he can have as much hay as he wants, I dont care he is not the least bit fat so I think we have a good work balance going too.
Ps we have used nearly 1.5 bales of hay since late September

Today we went out with two other horses for the very first time. He was a bit confused whether he wanted to go first or last, he wanted to sniff his pals got a bit jiggy joggy behind but its all a learning curve for him. He did really well I am very proud of him

Orbi has just had his first physio session and I am bloody delighted with the way he is growing and maturing… so was she she said it is so refreshing to see someone just giving their horse the time to grow and be a horse

I didn’t realise racing Thouroughbreds got that big! He’s sooo handsome and has such a kind eye.

Neither did I, I have been all through his heritage and none of them are as big as that, biggest is 16.2 so Christ knows, must have been love that made him grow I will measure again after winter but thats the stick as far as it goes

Second time for Orbi with the dentist and he was a super good boy, he had his very last baby tooth extracted and I got to keep it! Absolutely buzzing he never ate it
