Please pray for Harry.

Just checked in to see how Harry is doing. It's a relief to see that he's made some improvement. Fingers crossed for his full bounce back.
Just love your story about finding him. It's beautiful.

{{{{{{Vibes}}}}} to Harry, I hope it continues onwards and upwards, and that the veterinarian can fix his sinus problems tomorrow.

Hearing how you two found each other makes me think that certain things must be meant to happen, because otherwise I wonder what the odds would be for that you would happen to find him.

Just a quick up date to say he's had a comfortable (but hungry) night, we have three more poos and plenty of wee and the poos are nice and wet.

He managed a pint and half of warm water this morning with a tiny bit of cushcare crumbked into it (thank god he loves soup), just to get some more fluid into him. He has a very small handful of hay spread into strands across two haynets that ive thoroughly wetted, he tells me apparently the standards at this luxury horse hotel have slipped as he didnt get any food for the last 24hrs. He's very hungry ?.

Thank you all once sgain for your support. I will keep you posted when we have got the hospital appointment for his sinuses. x

I'm glad he has picked up. Would your vet let you trial him on Prascend without getting a Cushings diagnosis, given his age it is more than likely he has it , and ponies with it are immuno suppressed so are prone to infections like sinusitis.

I’m going to ask the vet when we go to the horsepital, as yes really valid point about the immune suppression as I wouldn’t want my little lad to go through any of this again. x

I'm so happy to see this after reading about your amazing journey with this very special little horse. Wishing you and Harry all the best!

Fantastic news and what an amazing story as to how he came into your life.

Might be worth asking your vet but mine often recommends a very sloppy bran mash after a colic.

Harry has had a comfortable day, he had 20 minutes out in the paddock having a nibble and had a "cushcare soup" of a pint and half of warm water with a tiny bit of cushcare crumbled into it. He then went back out late afternoon for half an hour for another mooch about and then had a tiny wet haynet when he came back in. He’s just had another “cushcare soup” at 7pm (we are an hour ahead of uk) and has another tiny wet haynet for the night. He’s hungry but I’m having to be careful as I don’t want him to overeat. I’m going to increase everything over the next day (vets happy ?). He’s very snotty so waiting to get him in, vets said wait a couple of days and then they’ll arrange his x-ray for his sinuses. ?

his best buddies are completely lost in the big barn and are keen to be back in their stable together (had To separate them so we can monitor poos, drinking and restrict his hay intake).

This photo says it all about today, as my four are kept as a herd, they’ve all been doing Harry’s turnout regime today, so no one gets lonely at this horse hotel. Here is Harry whilst his two best buddies are hurtling around out of shot, my mare is thundering around doing handstands to the left and Harry is head down ignoring all the paddock lunatics ?. Please ignore my awful electric fencing, I was in the paddock moving fence lines and stamping posts back in after a storm last night. 229FBDB4-6B95-486E-8AD5-87DC968E2282.jpeg
