Well done Harry and excellent mother for giving such good care!
I suffer with my sinuses so can imagine how miserable he must feel with them. What a relief to hear that the tummy seems to be on the mend xx

Just an update, Harry has had a lovely day out in the field nibbling. We’ve had normal poops and his sinus infection seems to actually be clearing up! It’s very odd as it it was the side that the vet put the nasal tube up that was the issue and since he’s been “tubed” we’ve had a big reduction in mucus, he’s no longer “snuffly” and sounding snotty today and he’s been happily snorting through his nose in the field today. His nose has been throughly inspected with head torches regularly and nothing could be seen, so I’m starting to wonder if something might have been stuck up his nose that we just couldn’t see and the tube has pushed it out!
It will be so interesting to see if it continues to improve. ?

I’m so pleased to hear Harry’s sinusitis is improving. I’ve been following this thread and I was so worried he would make it through the colic only to succumb to the sinusitis. I know most horses recover from it with appropriate treatment but I have a real dread of it now. Well done Harry.
