Boys on their 3rd walk of the day after work with me. They came away from other dogs-too bouncy for my liking-and only had a brief hysterical moment in the woody bit. Looking at one of the goldies coming out of the woods. I know him from when they were babies, haven’t seen him for ages.

We are very proud/pleased with our crazy brown Lab.
She broke a claw, the other day, showed it to me to let me know about it when she was sitting next to me on the settee at home. She kept 'hitting' me with that paw until sister brought a pair of scissors to trim it with. There was a tiny drop of blood but fortunately, no real damage to the quick. I held her head away but actually one person could have trimmed it for her, she was so good and trusting.

So proud of my chunky chocolate bean . Took him to a gorgeous new walk , recall was on point . He met loads of dogs , played nicely with them all. The best bit was when we met 2 boisterous dogs who totally ignored their owner, Stirling came away when asked .
Then he sat nicely while I took the below pic .

I went for a walk with Poppy yesterday, and it was almost like walking a normal dog! We walked past two other dogs (at a decent distance) and saw a deer...all of which are big triggers, but she managed not to fling herself around or start shouting the odds. Super, super proud of her...feels like we're finally making progress 😀

‘If you get a GSD you can find another vet to examine it’ so sayeth my vet and colleague of ten years - took them in for boosters and now she’s her favourite of the two.
I’ve never had to have a GSd muzzled at the vets , but Pickle needs one to have bloods taken , all 6.8 kg of him ! In his defence he has had a lot of vet visits with all his ailments , but it’s a bit embarrassing. 😳
