Review of the RSPCA visiting; a follow up call I would assume. Obviously nothing could have been amiss otherwise they would have removed more horses from his premises. As there is no mention of anything untoward happening then we must assume that all was in order and the RSPCA left content.
 
I agree with you E.S, you got my full support !!!!!
This story will always be trashed by the JG supporters out there who will try to twist it around again......

There is no story. It appears the RSPCA visited and then they left emptyhanded. No horses were removed. No statements were made to have us believe anything was untoward.
 
I don't think there are any JG supporters; just people who are curious as to what the truth actually is about this very strange case. If the man is the monster that the media are portraying him to be, then I hope he is sentenced accordingly. For the moment though we really know very little.

So horses WERE removed however there is no indication that they were in an unfit state. Once again it may be documentation/ownership irregularities. Then again it may be mistreatment.


So there is some basis for this news report....somewhere.

Maybe you should contact the rspca and ask them exactly what happened and IF any horses were removed.

I just cant dismiss what the News Papers are writing these days,I got a very good friend who is a journalist and she informed me that before they can print ANYTHING they got to make sure that what they write is correct information and not slander that can make them liable since that can give the person that they are writing about grounds to sue the paper..gossip magazines are one thing but i do not take News Papers with a Pinch of Salt.....And I also got a friend who was 1 of the Police Officers at the scene on the Farm and she said she was in tears when she saw the state of the horses...I know that 1 person will jump on me now,but i dont really care since i am using the ignore button....

The printed word that is incorrect gives rise to a libel case, the spoken word to a slander case. Providing the claimant can both afford to bring such an action and can prove that he has suffered loss as a result of the damage to his character etc. he might be able to bring such a case. But the newspaper will rely on the guidelines given in Reynolds v. Times Newspapers, which is essentially a 'public interest' defence.

Before any solicitor will take your defamation action he is going to ask for a substantial sum to be deposited on account. So effectively only the very wealthy are considered to have reputations worth defending!

The result of this is that many newspapers get it wrong when dealing with 'ordinary' people but submit everything relating to those who are wealthy to their lawyers.

Also remember that it is not just whether something terrible was found at the farm that is important. It is whether the prosecution can prove beyond reasonable doubt that JG was responsible.
 
I hope that they will find that he was responsible,according to other sources they had to wait until they had evidence that would stick in court,the case is being build up against him as we write.We can debate about JG until we turn blue in our faces,noone will know the outcome until it goes to court,and it BETTER go to court.....The sad thing is that some of them WERE locked into that barn and if they died it did not matter to him and if they survived they would see the spring light before being sent off to slaughter.My best friends parents lives in the village and were one of the people that contacted RSPCA after they WITNESSED him physically abuse the horses in the field,and i DONT CARE what some of you will say,i TRUST their words more than anyones in here.The only people that knows the truth is JG and people that lives in that village.Apart from one in here who actually lives nearby the farm..The rest of you dont even know where the farm is,how many apart from me and another member has seen the farm ? Knows Where it is ??? Lives in the same county ? The list is long,,,Stop waisting your energy fighting about JG and the Amersham horses and do something productive in helping the recovery of the horses and donkeys......I have seen those ponies and i was CRYING so hard when i did
Meat dealer or not,cr@p horses or not,people that decides to deal in horses or any other kind of animals got to be taught how to treat their animals with respect since they actually put the food on the table...How can they sleep at night knowing that there are unfeed and hungry animals nearby is beyond me,and people found guilty of neglect should not receive a prison sentence,they should live in the same condition during their sentence as the animals they neglected...
 
You're terribly well connected, having a friend who was one of the police officers that raided the farm, and knowing the people who reported JG. Not only that but you have seen the ponies with your own eyes.

I said that contacted RSPCA regarding JG,and i just realised that i did a typing misstake,should read Friends of best friends parents,i did not say that I know them....and no i would not call myself very well connected,just circumstances i would say..and there we go again...after everything that i wrote about writing about it until we are blue in our faces,dont waste energy/ helping the horses/ponies,treatment of neglected horses you picked out and managed to write negative sentendes...And i happen to be very local to Amersham,so is it that strange that i have friends being a Police Officer ???? I did not ask you to stand back in awe,that was your choice...And if you had done volounteer work for one of the Rescue Centres you would have seen the ponies as well.That is no big deal,i am not the only one who have seen one of the Amersham Horses......Everyone in OE did if I understand correctly from previous posts

I can say 100% that NO animals were removed - Not even one!! and that is a fact.

For Pete's sake i told you that i dont know them but did i say that i have not spoken to them ?????? Just because i speak to 2 people does not mean that i know them and call them my friends ! My best friend( Number 2 after hubby) put me into contact with them for various reasons,since i was very stressed,so stop twisting things around.They did not tell me more than they told the authorities,probarly less,,
But like other villagers they are very happy that something was finally done..but because of that they are no friends of mine...Some people call someone their friend after 1 conversation,i do not work like that,I am too old for cr@p like that

I doubt that many people stick stricktly to the truth writing on a forum,i cant lie to someones face but typing for strangers to read and maybe wind 1 or 2 people up ?? No disrespect Paddywhack but you say you feel strongly about the amersham horses, yet you lied about your very own father. On the thread that got deleted you told me your father was dead, yet yesturday you told Tia that your father has been diagnosed with lung cancer......so you have lied about your father too - which I believe is far worse than anything else you have said. Do you not feel as strongly about your father?
