From the poster who had an epic meltdown because someone referred to them by their user name, sure hun.

I stand by it. Your ignorance and cruelty speaks for itself. Imagine the horror of a 9wk old having a wet pen, yes let's withhold water for an easier life.

None of my puppies have ever had a wet bed. Why would their bed be wet? They tell me when they need to go to the toilet and they are taken down.

If you're allowing your puppies to toilet their crate and lay in their own filth all night, you're considerably worse.

Not sure what you're referring to but JBM was the one withholding pups water because they were wetting their crate/pen. Take it up with them. I don't leave dogs/pups without water and they don't spend the night in wet/filth. I know how to look after animals and toilet train pups.

He has vet matting if he pees it goes through the mat he doesn’t lie in his own pee
His bed gets wet when he throws his whole bowl of water over his bed

The Kennel Gear pail/bowl system is the best on the market, but there are cheaper alternatives.

Parrot bowls have a hoop but they can bop the bowl out of it from below if determined.

Road Refreshers also won't spill over if tipped or even flipped upside down, but can be chewed.

I will try get a video of him he’s a husky he’s pretty stubborn in what he wants to do 😅
Im pretty sure once he is toilet trained in a couple of weeks you can reintroduce the water. Then he will understand the idea of pee pee etc

My dog lays on my bed for 8 hours every night and never needs a drink as she is sleeping 😂

He’s actually nearly there very proud of him! Some people are acting like he should be potty trained from day one my dogs never look for a drink during the night either because they’re sleeping 🤦🏻‍♀️

I liked the look of the Kennel Gear but £75 for a bowl!!! o_O We use Road Refreshers in house, car crate and kennels due to one knob who plays water bowl frisbee :D

I did use one for the female when she was tiny but she started nibbling the edges and I'm quite sentimental about it. I think my car pails were a Kennel Gear knock-off that we got at a stall at one of the events. The rest are just hooped bowls off Amazon or from Jollyes or whatever as the habit comes from her father 😉

To reiterate, all of mine drink at night. Just because one or two individual dogs don't, doesn't mean they all don't.

I'll have a look for knock offs - the most recent ones I tried were crap, sagged and drooped under the weight of the water bowl as the hoop section wasn't strong enough. I'm quite taken by the hot pink kennel gear ones though ;) I my land of dark green/sensible kennels...

Maybe mine would drink if they had water in the bedroom but if they're not motivated enough to walk downstairs they can't be terribly thirsty. All my kennelled dogs have water 24/7 as do the terriers who sleep in the kitchen

Of the hundreds I have looked after they will sleep, play and also drink. water should absolutely not be restricted.
Not sure if you’ve ever been around farm dogs but I have never seen one with a water bowl
They drink out of rivers and are in bed at night 🤷🏻‍♀️ and yet the are beautifully healthy and happy
when let out of bed they immediately look for work not water bowls

Not sure what sort of farms dont give water and not all farms have rivers.

None of mine have ever played overnight. The boundaries have always been clear that when they wake in the night, they go outside to the toilet and then we go back to bed. Night time is not play time.

Unless you are referencing a whole litter, in which case of course management would be different.

Spoken like a true farmer I’m sure 😂

See that's the problem with the Internet, you don't actually know who you're talking to. I've posted numerous times about my farming links and experience. You're an absolute clown who's just digging a deeper and deeper hole for themselves. Clearly learnt nothing since your last meltdown
