Aw, what kind is your Max? My Bo hates puppies, she's very antisocial, can't blame her at 13 though.
She's sometimes a little sore but nowhere near as bad as tonight. Though she still went running up and down the stairs when she couldn't find me (I was only on the settee in living room, maybe she's going blind too
) Will ring vet in the morning as it'll only be the emergency line open and hopefully she'll sleep it off (she's snoring at the moment
) but if she's still sore in the morning I'm going to ring them asap.

JS - Mad Max is a lab and a big one so for a 3 month old puppy to be nearly his size its fair to say he is going to grow up to be mahoosive!!

Glad the new ponio is home and seems happy f_s, looking forward to hearing about his antics!
I am officially a numpty. Went to vet tonight for what I thought was final jab and workup only for vet to say he never planned a workup tonight, just the jab. Have to bring him back to work slowly, 10 minutes of walk at first and build up and he wants to see him again in a month. Had planned to give him a longer break but vet wants him brought back to work to see if he reacts.
I have no idea where I got the idea from that he was having a workup so I got my knickers in a twist and gave myself a sleepless night for nothing!

i am trying to be positive but without getting my hopes up as his kidneys are not working properly and there is a good chance he has kidney failure. he is also still anamic

My friend had a GSD and it was hoooge! Quite scary actually, I'm wary of big dogs, that's why mine's a bichon frise, looks totally out of place at the yard but if she enjoys it then why not, just have to make sure she doesn't get squashed by the horses!
She's snoring as we speak so at least she's settled cos she really wasn't herself when I came in from work, luckily OH has been off so he's been in with her, but you know you can always tell when there's something not right.
