A fabulous test and mark, but perhaps not quite as on the ball as usual. It didn’t seem quite as switched on as normal. Movements seemed to take a couple of seconds to happen rather than being instant, if you know what I mean.

Yes I think that. Like the extended trots and canter seemed to struggle to go forward well. It kind of wasn’t firing properly. Still a great test, but without the panache somehow. It feels mean saying this, because it was still right up there.
