I have never thought this case was clear-cut and I did have many questions about all the inconsistencies shown by the media.

JG may be guilty, and if he is, as you say, he will likely have the book thrown at him.....

....however....

....he may be innocent. I am open-minded enough and have experienced enough ups and downs with equines to know that unfortunate things can happen very quickly, particularly when you are dealing with horses who are not in the best of health.

I don't get these "some people will be proved right and some people will be proved wrong" comments? None of us know what happened; some people try to figure out what might have happened and have come up with thoughts, and others will come up with different conclusions; that's all, and I don't recall any of the regular posters stating that he is definitely innocent; I've seen plenty of folks suggesting he is definitely guilty though...

No-one on here can know for sure if he is guilty or innocent and all I have seen Myjack suggesting is that we all take a moment to think; she isn't telling us what to believe, just to open our minds a bit.
 
Also, may I ask what 'supported evidence' the media have given? - I believe it is the photo's of underweight horses & reports of dead ones. I have not passed comment on this as I would like to see what the court case shows. For all we know these horses may have been bought in this condition, though this is looking unlikely. Also there was some confusion over passports?

We can only assume that MJ cannot answer questions as what she knows will affact the court case, we have all been warned to watch what we say on an open forum regarding this case.
Time will tell, tho sometimes I wonder about the justice system in this country!!

I agree that it would appear unlikely that JM is innocent but MyJack has been so very tenacious in her defense of him that it has to raise questions about the authenticity of the claims.....let's wait and see what the 28th brings
 
As I said in another thread, you have made ME think about this whole case.

As for MJ not providing facts, how can she? There is a current court case! Think about it people!

Like many others, IF JG is proved guilty I would want him to burn in hell, IF he is innocent, then there are a lot of questions that need answering.

MJ, I think the reason some members dislike(d) you is the way you came across "In the beginning" as in at the start of this whole case back in January. You were so strong minded and as others have said so secretive, plus we'd already had a few trolls stirring things up.

As you have been so persistent I for one have slowly realised that you do raise valid questions. As for what you can't say, if you are telling the truth I appreciate your reasons for holding back, but 1) I hope that when this whole business is over you will tell us all what you won't say at the moment, and 2) please understand the way you can come across has in the past made it look like you are trying to sabotage the prosecution case, which is immediately suspicious.

Having said that I respect you for the way you now conduct yourself on this forum and thank you for opening my eyes to the media's way!

I agree Blueberry, I too would like to know the reasons but as it is a live case I guess MJ can't say too much about whatever it is she may/may not know

Not sure how anyone has got the idea that he didn't buy any animals in underweight conditions - and I'm not sure where you got the idea that there was some confusion over passports.

Well I wasn't aware of the trolls so I can imagain why people would get upset. Not only that, but so much BS had just hit the headlines telling people that 32 dead horses, and dozens more starving and neglected had just been found. I don't blame people for getting angey - not one bit.

Do you think it is appropriate to keep saying you know he is innocent but yet say you cannot say,why becuase of the case?

Was it not best to say nothing at all? All you are doing is provoking thoughts with no evident reason or explanation.

Surely ONE dead horse is a cause for concern, one or 30 why count? One is enough.
Lets say it may be a good thing that the welfare of these animals have been under scrutiny. It can only be a good thing i would imagine.

In your reply to me, you say what actions. Why are you nitpicking over comments?

Why not tell me then how well he cares for his horses and convince me otherwise. That cannot affect a court trial.

Unfortunately, im not getting this at all really.

If as you say you know he is innocent for definite, then am i to presume you have/are a witness then and can defend him as you have evidental proof to back up his practical care for his animals?

In which case you would not be on this form talking of it at all. I know papers can distort the truth or expand on it.

I do not have to defend my comments because my actions are not in question-simply.

The welfare of my horses would never be in question. They are visibly well cared for.
