Thing is, Applecart, that info as simple as a list of past Champion Hurdle winners is easily and freely available on the net, eg:- http://www.racinguk.com/stan-james-champion-hurdle-facts

yes..but...if you aren't interested (which Applecart freely says this is the case with her) why would you look? I have always been interested in breeding but took what I was told at face value. Would not have occurred to me to double check what I was told.

You are right. I'm not interested. The horse was PTS in November 2000 at the age of six after suffering a broken tibia in the field whilst turned out. I wasn't interested then, and I'm not interested now. His breeding had no bearing on what I wanted to do with him which was SJ and which I made clear to the dealer. I didn't even know what ISH meant and couldn't have cared less.

All I wanted to do was a bit of SJ/DR and fun rides :) He turned out to be not the horse for me and I was planning on selling him on when the accident happened.

And even if I was name dropping I would be more interested in name dropping someone slightly more interesting than a conservative MP, pleasant though he was , RIP NB :D
