Good lord, you have an astonishing lack of self awareness!!! You think the OP is rude!!!!

I don't think I have been rude. Mocking, yes, distracting, definitely, rude, no. I was completely genuine in my request for punctuation - I do find it very difficult to interpret the OP's posts - that was not me being rude.

Tbh, I thought you all knew she's a troll and that's why people were being nasty. But it seems you do believe hers is a genuine request for advice?

I do suspect the OP is a troll. the responses seem remarkably similar in style to several posters of similar natures lately. Naturally I could be wrong. Either way, I don't see that anything we say will affect any outcome... So far as I'm aware, I haven't been nasty to the OP though.

if you can tell me how to put them on
upload to a website - eg photobucket.
then add the url of the image (right click and "copy link location" or words to that affect on other browsers) to the forum. put [img*] at the beginning and [/img*] at the end of the url. without the * though.

I wasn't especially meaning you'd been nasty, but some have. I also wondered if she's a troll, but was being cautious in case she's geniunely here for help.

And yes, poor punctuation does make it very hard to understand posts, I agree.

I think she may have been a little provoked. :D

I would rather give sensible advice to a troll, than risk being rude and unhelpful to someone who actually needed it. If a troll is a troll, they want all the rude explosive answers anyway, the sensible helpful ones aren't very exciting are they?

Also i know of a lady quite similar (although sounds a little more experienced) who is doing a great job of getting her little one used to 'scary' things. He is seemingly enjoying it, and spends 23/24 hours of the day being a horse without humans so is not being overfaced at all. He is a very polite and agreeable young horse.

Completely true, but it can get somewhat tedious that way ;)

Cute pony, btw.

I agree, It also seems a bit strange to me that someone who asks for advice, albeit maybe not the advice some believe should be asked for as apparently it comes naturally with experience:rolleyes:, Is a troll but someone who is rude in virtually every post they make is welcomed with opened arms and treated like a long lost sibling

wow, maybe now would be a good time NOT to ask for advice on my young colt as its the first time i've owned a colt, do you think i could take him back and swap for a baby mare instead? oh, and possibly seek JFTD's help on common english. she may even be able to sort my dyslexia whilst we are there.

Theres my mistakes out of the way and grammar issues explained.

I also never read in the terms and conditions that untill you've reached X posts you are considered a 'troll' could anyone shed any light on what a 'troll' is please?

Although i did read item 6.1 of the t&c's and i'm pretty damn sure a few posts breach this term. Now theres some food for thought.

Back on topic, kylee, where is your colt from? he looks EXTREMELY simular to my young lad. Feel free to PM me if you would'nt like to post on here.

I'm at the same stage as you with my colt, and did think about asking for any advice on here, after hearing to break him to drive as it will 'add value' i'm very greatful i did'nt.

By the way, i use an equine vet, he only deals with equines, and although he didnt say it was 'too cold' he did suggest not cutting him when the temperatures are at they're lowest, I also don't know why this was suggested and to be truthfull, did'nt question his opinion, he is the vet, not me.

please let me know how you find the books, it maybe worth a look into buying them myself.

kind regards, MV22

aww he's cute :)
get him gelded asap ,don't do any lunging/longlining etc until he's a little older and stronger as you could damage his growing joints etc

just enjoy him being a baby and work on general manners from the ground for now ,even get him used to moving over and standing next to mounting blokes and things so he gets used to you being higher than him ready for when he is ready for breaking

but you will need patience as he is a chunky little man so could take longer to manure ,just take your time with him and he'll last you longer in the future :)

Good job on tackling the lice!
He sounds like he should make a nice horse - cob with a wee dash of thoroughbred, he will be big, I'm guessing?
