ID x TB or shire x TB.... make nice hunters
Arabian x
They tend to cross nicely with most breeds.
Arabian native crosses are often ideal kids ponies.
PBA's also make brilliant competition horses, Tamarillo being the perfect example![]()
Anglo arab!! As I have one, Tamarillo is an Anglo arab, not a PBA!

Am I the only one who was taught that an AA was a TB x arab (50% arab and 50% TB)? Yet these days, the word anglo arab seems to be used to describe anything with a smidge of arab blood in it.
AFAIA, and please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, Tamarillo is not even 50% arab and has a lot of warmblood in him, which makes him a PBA, not an AA.
I always understood it that an anglo arab is thoroughbred x arabian in any capacity as long a said horse has a minimum 12.5% arabian.
Tamarillo is somewhere around the 25% + mark I believe, but he isn't an AA as his sire was registered as a PBA.
An Anglo Arab cannot have any other blood, other than TB and Arab. Apparently there is a big debate going on right now, as on the continent it seems the rules are more relaxed, and the UK breeders who strive for quality performance AA's are pushing for AA's to become a breed with its own stud book etc. controlled in the UK for this reason. I was reading this on the Arabian forum, so may have got a few details off kilter, (there were a LOT of details!!) but yes, TB x Arab + Anglo Arab. With any other blood it becomes a PBA.
My personal choice would be Arab x Welsh C/D, but also have a Connie x TB, haven't really sussed her out yet.
Cob x TB
TB x welsh
Welsh x
Nothing with Arab though.
