Oh well Shils and Taffster hope you had your fun. For the record, my cob is not plain at all, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder etc. You can go and bate someone else now as I am signing off as have to go home and do said cob and warmblood.
By the way Shils and Taffster, god knows what you ride, but nobody in this thread has either asked you or even cares. On top of that its each to their own. I dont like TBs much, but I dont post stupid threads on forums going on about them. I personally think you both are secret cob lovers who dont want to let on your guilty secret. Either that or you are just dam sad.
Grow up you stupid people, or get your kicks elsewhere.

I ride the biggest hairest beast you can imagine. He jumps like a stag, has one speed - fast, no brakes, loves XC, and is the most funny, loving, charismatic animal ever. He is even talented enough to write his own diary

This may be a joke, but you can't blame people for being defensive.
A lot of horse owners lives practically revolve around their horse - many users on here their horse is infact a cob, they are bound to defend their pride and joy - as would you if someone started making posts like this about your horse/horses breed.
Just a thought...
I'm not offended by this - I don't own a horse myself, but like I said before I ride a cob and believe he really shows cobs are not what people think they are - the steriotypical plod along for beginners, but I can see why this post is offending people!

Well, the vast majority of my horses are Warmbloods, I read threads making bad comments about the breeds daily, somehow it doesn't offend me at all, I don't defend them, to the contrary - quite often join in the slating

wish i could find a cob , been looking for weeks , my autistic son is 15 stone , a good rider but needs a steady neddy , i,m a tb girl meself though , got 2 of em , just not suitable for son , so pm me if you,ve got one for sale ......15 to 16 hands , ploddy , nappers and the won,t budge at all wecome but no rearers or buckers please , oh and i,m in cornwall and need one in 100 mile radius

I get what you're saying, and I too don't think it's offensive seeing as everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I'm just making the point that this post is going to cause friction as many people love cobs

I wouldn't worry about a cob rearing - most are like mine and find rearing to much like hard work
- just can't be @rsed to lift her big hairy hooves off the ground!!
she does do a nice line in handsatands and spins though......
