[ QUOTE ]

I'd just been going to post that - or are they more correctly called "English Warmbloods"?

James Gray??

[/ QUOTE ] Well at least it would take him a while to starve it!

I bet he hates those TB things that die too quick if they don't get fed.

A little below the belt that one i think, my sense of humour cant quite stretch that far! I wouldnt sell Jamie Grey a stuffed one - i dont mean to be offensive especially if hes a good friend of yours

Doubtful i'm afraid mine is not fat and is totally dependant on food so chances are he would starve a little sooner than you would think!

Why should cobs be fat bigger built but only fat if not properly managed!?
And TBs get given away cobs cost a fair bit more

QR

now that would be something for marketing peeps to get their teeth into

English warmbloods.... Ideal for those that like a little rough

wow i completely agree with theoryx!
Its horses for courses - and if we all liked the same thing how boring would that be!
I used to ride a cob in BD and loved wiping the smirk off people faces when he won or got placed against their warmbloods.
Just cause somethings not your cuppa tea you dont need to try and put down someone elses whether your stirring 4fun or not.

You sound great fun.
You do have a point though. For example, I like correct grammer, and hate text speak.

lol this may get interesting again i love my ole gypsy cob he can jump 3ft but he aint going to be as good as a finer type but he is good fun especially when we get over it and go for our uncontrollable gallop. Each to their own

[ QUOTE ]
So shils - a suggestion. When you're stirring why not use one of your skinny TBs? Hold by its slimline tail and whisk at speed. Beats a spoon anyday

[/ QUOTE ]

Have you seen my Tb, Hovis-slave?
S

I know this is all a bit of fun, but I feel I have to say that I ride the most amazing little cobblet I have ever laid my eyes on
grin.gif

His paces are not slow and ploddy, infact he has beaten every horse he has ever 'raced'
smirk.gif

He has an amazing jump and can turn on a six pence in a jump off. With his owner he has previously been to a county show, competed in the junior and senior class, winning both - much to the disgrace of those adults on their 16hh 'show jumpers'
smirk.gif
Also, the other week, competed unaffiliated BSJA at 90cm and got the fastest time out of all competitors, affiliated and unaffiliated ! He then went on to be named "horse of the day" by the judges
grin.gif
again, much to the disgrace of those on their 16hh show jumping horses...

I would say he's the best horse I have ever ever ridden
grin.gif

Also, he has the best temper I have ever come across in a horse, I have sat on the floor by his front tootsies quite a few times, and the only thing he's ever done is come over and give kisses
grin.gif
he would also quite happily let his owner or I share his stable
tongue.gif

I'm done.
Continue to pretend you hate cobs, even though everyone knows you secretly love them

God, this thread really did make me laugh in the end. It made me laugh so much that I am going off to ride my cob into the sunset ............

I dont really care what anyone owns, its up to the individual really. I just think cobs are undervalued and mocked. My cob is one in a million and will never be sold.

You won't get as far as the sunset...you'll be too tired after legging him on in every walk stride.
tongue.gif

And then you'll have to carry him home.
See you next thread?

You are really a saddo to assume such a load of old crap. He doesnt need kicking every stride. Contrary to popular belief he is forward going.
