Think if you go on the Burghley website there are links to people that will hire you a caravan or even a motorhome and even deliver it! Don't know how much but sounded fab! They catered for dogs too!!

A vote for the kk - I have had lots of bits, the ns don't seem to be very hardwaring get a lot of teeth marks in a short space of time, and I have read that they can break!! Had my kk ultra for 12 mths, no marks and a fabby bit IMO!! (Even tried NS pelhams!) x

Thanks for your reply,yes he gets more itchy when hot, and resorted to the small circle thing today which i think will concentrate on til weds, have a gel lite pad for saddle and seems ok, will keep you posted!!

Hi all, fairly new to here - but here goes!! Just bought my 7 yr old hanoverian back into work after 4 wks -he kept pulling shoes off (is lame without) and most recently was stung by a wasp when schooling, which he hasn't forgotten, he keeps quivering and acting as though something has landed...

Have you thought about a drop noseband? Am going to try one with mine who is also constantly messing with his mouth and tongue- and just goes rigid with a flash. Am never sure about bits, tried loads with my old boy, not sure they made any difference tho, but maybe you could try a bit bank?

Wasp sting was on off side fore just beneath elbow, it happened when I was riding in the school, so could ride him but he was very worried about it! Even though it was small it has taken 2 wks for him to begin to forget about it! Just kept quivering all over that shoulder!

Hi, had very similar prob with my 17hh hanoverian- also bought from a dealer, he is from Holland, and I believe that horses are not usually turned out there! Needless to say he was sooo excited about being able to go out that even getting from stable to field was a nightmare!! Lots of bruised...

Just wondering what bit would be best for my hanoverian? He crosses his jaw and messes with his tongue occasionally getting it over the bit, am is in cavesson noseband at the mo which I have to do up quite tight. He is more resistant and strong with a flash, so am going to get a drop noseband...
