thorowgood cob saddles - leather type - also a Q about fitting!

I'm actually selling my Thorowgood leather adjustable cob atmo (on ebay) it's the L6 same as Kent and Masters. You will see that the Thorowgood cob saddles are not very forward cut and I have shown in mine with no problem, it shows the shoulder off nicely. But of course it is all down to...

Arghh, new evasion!!! Need some help with this one please...

My advice would be, to try her in a Dr Cook (type) bitless bridle, just to satisfy yourself that the problem is/or is not, in the mouth. If she improves with the evasion in the mouth, keep using the bitless, to try and work on the evasion of over collection and not listening to your leg aids...

Have to agree with Jane_Lou turning out into a small area can do loads of damage with sliding stops and twists and turns etc. My preference would be chuck out in a big field after giving Sedalin. I really hope he improves and comes sound, it seems you're doing a great job and after reading...

What position was his head in when he fought the dentist? My guess is that he could have done something to his neck whilst fighting the dentist? I always have mine sedated for the dentist as they can do such damage putting up a fight with their mouths held open. It sounds like she is doing...

Has anyone used these people for rug cleaning?

Yes my freinds livery yard did, they put together a lot of 20 rugs and sent them (they won't take less than 20 at a time). Result: They lost the rugs :( luckily the person who accidently picked them up, did return them and my freinds got their rugs back. - Lesson learnt, tag your rugs...

    Hey Farm Saddlery?

I did have an issue with Hey Farm and slow delivery of wormers once, but that was a while ago and I did phone (Paul) and he was so apologetic and explained the reason for delay (can't remember reason now) and I did get my wormers. I bought a Rambo rug from him earlier this year with no probs...

Lameness on a circle but not on a straight run up

Agree with Louby, this horse needs nerve-blocking. My horse did exactly this and I had her nerve blocked, turned out to be navicular :( It definitely needs more investigation.

has anyone had a horse pts due to sweet itch?

Sweet itch can be a horrible condition. My donkey had it from head to toe but I managed to keep it under control and her comfortable till she was pts at 34 yrs from an age related condition (not sweet itch). My recommendation (and a dermotologist from The Animal Health Centre, Newmarket) is...

    Desperately want help for bucking!

Funny thing is, we all seem to be talking about mares here? My mare did exactly the same thing at the same age??? So I am wondering if any of this could be hormone related? Mares of this age are going through hormone changes, my mare used to get swellings behind the saddle when she was due in...
