The blog, which incidentally has been edited since I first read it, appears to blame the person reporting the infringement for the young rider being unable to compete.
Surely it was better that she did not compete rather than being disciplined for rule breaking later.

I don't compete.
I just can't imagine BS or BE sending a team to compete for UK unless every team member was properly qualified and fully conversant with all rules.
This comment under Pippa's blog sums it up for me:
Makes me so angry. The UAE and FEI are destroying the sport. What is going on in this discipline? The apparent horse abuse and the blatant and seemingly acceptable (to FEI) rule breaking, cheating and fraud must make all other sporting codes...

C_C if you need a shoulder to lean on do talk to BHS Friends at The End
As fatpiggy said the build up to and making that final decision in a non-emergency situation is the hardest part

I am sure BHS will be VERY interested in someone altering one of their passports
Do phone in and tell them your story
At your local Council you need to ask for Animal Health/Welfare
They are part of Trading Stds for your council and the people interested and responsible for passport...
Yes do think about Magnesium
Farmers were warned that due to the VERY wet winter magnesium levels could be at an all time low.
Do consider getting your soil tested
Do read up on boosting mineral levels without adding extra sugars--ie not one of the molasses type licks!!
Appreciate that, but also need to stop this person continuing with current behaviour--ie rehoming horses to which she has no legal title to young and inexperienced people (inexperienced as to the legal side, not inexperienced in horsecare)
