Like any other animal decisions are made in the best interests of hounds. Some go back to their puppy walkers to live out their lives, some are drafted to other packs where they may be more suited and yes some will be shot.

When my boy was a little unlevel on sharp turns my vets advice was to give him bute and take him hunting. We already did hunt. He was a big heavyweight boy, loved his hunting and carried on until his 20s. I have no ethical issue with it. He had some before and after hunting and hacked bute free...

I was probably on that walk with my 2 😂😂 they are a vocal breed definitely. But the minis are happy, cheerful, adaptable and are definitely characters! Coincidentally the chap that grooms my girls also has Airedales.

My dogs are small but won't measure in at 280 as have withers and would struggle at 300. Clearly they don't see it as a welfare issue if leaving it until 2027. Honestly makes you feel like giving up! I too will walk at wrong height if I know am in different classes although under new proposals...
