I think you need to also take into consideration the build of your horse and the impact of the canter work. For doing 90's there is no way you would be required to do 8 minutes of cantering. As others have said lots of walking and trotting up hills will have greater benefit in the long run...

Depends what you are medicating for, if it is just for stiffness or for something more underlying depends on interval & success rate. Can PM me if you want as I have been through the mill slightly with medicating stifles.

Natalie Innes at Shotts is a specialist in breaking the natives but she is quite full up at times with breakers but can also assist you in starting off yourself.

Katie excellent for the flat but maybe not so much one for the jumping side of things. If you want someone for all round Natalie Innes at Shotts is another one and specialises in youngsters.

I tried various bits from waterfords, tom thumb & pelhams, and now have found that the Neue Schule Tranz Angled Universal is the winner by miles and wished I had found it sooner!!
