MARES !!!! i used to love geldings but since having my mare i get on with her so much better and i had a gelding on loan and we really didn't agree so now happily only have mares
god i wish we had your budget to play with!!!! we are looking at £250,000 atm and you would be surprised what we were able to find in wales (mum wants to work in cardiff) the only problem is comuting distance we even looked at a house with 13 acres but he got pp for stables and hauled the price...
have you looked in tack shops ect. and if you list the websites you have been on someone maybe able to highlight any you may have missed

because horses have been domesticated they have presures and strains put on them that they wouldn't in the wild as well as stableing and different eating habits so they cant get the vits and minerals that they may be able to find in the wild, obviously thats just my opinion

i had a hay delivery the other day and the woman said that she has just cut some more, sprayed it once, then the rain washed it off so she had to spray it again. I was just wondering what do you spray hay with and why?
i have onlyt just thought to question it as some new people have arrived on...
i vote for option e) find a nice person (maybe elderly lady) that wants to potter around the country side and spend time around her then you get to keep her but can stop worrying and she would have the attention.

hey is there enough room for a little one lol i to am contantly messing with fencing i have 2 very porky looking ponies and my paddock is bare because the grazing i have left is extremly rich and long i give them a bit of soaked hay but am going to have to move them soon into their proper field.
i would say 17 sounds a weird inbetween kind of number but 18 sounds old lol

i think she would make a good little driving pony but i have no experience of driving but something to look into she is so sweet and affectionate if she was bigger i would have kept her!!!!!!:olol (one of the reasons for buying a small pony was so that i didn't get the urge(sp) to keep her lol)...
she wasn't vaccinated when we brought her so when the vet comes out to do our other one we are getting her done aswell
