My pony became lame on her right hind leg during a riding lesson, we had only been riding for 5 minutes & we put it down too the school's- soft/deep surface - as she hasnt been in a school before & is usually schooled in a field.
She seems to be slightly twisting her foot inwards...

The answer to ur Q is.... You can't! :) greys are impossible to keep clean unless u rug them,bandage them up & keep them stabled for life! mine loves mud & rolling. so is always a tinge of green! hehe.
Bad bits: My mare bites, has no stable or ground manners, doesnt really enjoyed being groomed, hates being stabled!! does not like being tied up & 'left alone' even for a second...is a nightmare when she is in season, spooks at anything, hates drains, milestones & alpacas! has serious ponytude...
Definately take someone with you for a second opinnion, an instructor is a good idea. You could even ask if she could ride him aswell, then she can advise you.

I always poo-pick, but then i have smaller paddocks rather than one huge field. I do also harrow, but i pick up the poo first. If u dont have enough time, can u get some child labour in, hehe.A son/daughter/cousin want to earn a few bob? send them upto the fields with wheelbarrow and poo-picker...
I don't think its at the top of their 'to-do' list, but when it is I reckon hunting will be allowed with some sort of license, so that it can be regulated.

Although... she says she is a rescue mare, so (as far as im aware of)...you are not allowed to sell them on as you never outrightly 'own' them, it is just an adoption/loan from the rescue centre!
