I have my horse on full livery, and when the STAFF at the yard (staff, not other liveries) ride him for me I get an email detailing who rode him, for how long, what they worked on and how they thought he went. If I am away for more than a day or two then they also tell me the other things he has...
Hahaha, that is what the youngster I tried out did to me... I had my instructor yelling 'Don't fall off, she is just testing you!' Yeah, easier said than done!
I managed to stay on but needless to say when she settled, I jumped off and handed her back PDQ - I think I will wait another year or...
Awww, my boy does that too! He spends most of life on three legs hoping someone will send a carrot his way :D

PLEASE can I have my breakfast now?!
I'm really glad I stumbled upon this thread, I have been having the same inner battle for a few weeks... Mind is now made up - look out Dressage World, here we come ;)
Thanks dafthoss, my horse is a 16.2 Spanish Sports Horse, so tall but not that wide. I am 5ft 2, and I prefer smaller blocks. I struggle with keeping my body upright and not scrunching forwards, so anything with a nice deep seat would probably help :)
I will have a look at the Albion website.
The Boy and I are doing our first dressage test on Sunday, and although I don't plan on buying anything until we find out how much we enjoy (or otherwise) the test I thought I might have a little ask on here and see what dressage saddles come recommended?
No harm in window shopping, hey?
Good luck!! I am doing my first dressage test (well, first for about 15 ys!) on Sunday too! Sounds like you have come a long way with your boy, well done :)
I have stuck post-it notes round my living room as markers and have been learning my test by doing it on foot in the house. OH thinks...
I love seeing my boys potential - it pushes me to work harder on my riding so that I can do him justice! The bloke who rode him for me is also the YO, so he does ride him quite often and he gives me feedback on where we have improved since he last rode him, what we need to work on next etc. All...
When a really super dooper rider rides your horse for you, and you get to ohhh and ahhh :D
Just spent an hour ohhing and ahhing at my BEAUTIFUL boy being ridden by a top notch show jumper and now I feel very proud indeed!
Sorry for a pointless post, although I bet you lot are more...
I have JGL Boots - they are made to measure and cost 300 Euro, so just a bit over £200 but the quality is superb and they are so comfortable. A couple of friends ordered theirs at a competition just over three years ago and they are still in great shape.
It is a Spanish company but they speak...
It isn't even that easy to inherit a lot of money these days... The Father of a friend of mine has paid 50% tax on the majority of his earnings (top tax bracket but the % has changed a bit over the years:)) and when he dies she will have to pay 40% of anything he is able to leave her
