Magnitude or Carl hesters are good, the difference in a horse when you take it off magnitude for a week is unbelieveable..

I'm working so have 23 odd horses to look after however, the yard is sad we lost a mare to colic last night :( and then i'm home to see and ride Breeze before seeing family and doing xmas have boxing day off from work so i will be riding breeze then too, a normal weekend for me!

Why? Only for it to eventually suffer a more painful time, I have seen many horses been left to long from suffering lamintis and cushings then they get secondary colic where there body is shutting down with organ failure. Its really not a good sight to see when you know 6 months ago the pony...

Don't worry i also have a wimpy tb who drops weight almost instantly if cold, who is fully clipped has 6 rugs on and is now only toasty. Doesnt matter how many rugs your horse has on as long as there warm enough...

What i find is you have to explore which feed works for each horse because Breeze is fab on calm and condition, get her on veteran mixes or build up mixes she loses it. Have you had your horses teeth checked Breeze lost loads of weight 2 years ago when he teeth got bad (past owner left them...
