If the child is bad and the dog is suffering as a consiquence by being isolated then I think rehousing would not be a bad option, I think you would be justified in your choice.

I think it's getting worse out there whilst trying to have a nice dog walk. Why can't people just take responsibility for their dogs for goodness sake. I would never use a harness either. I have seen dogs with horrible wounds from them under their arm pits and have seen dogs get out of them...

I see. I guess that could also happen in a kennel as a friend of mine left her dog in a kenel and it snapped it's cruciate joint/muscle or something in her leg when jumping up and down at the bars. I will have to do some home work and see what I can find.

Dare I ask what you where not happy with? Im looking to use a boarding service and would like to know what to look out for? I have only used kennels but would like to try a home service.

I know of a lady who does agility with hers and it's superb, it wipes the floor with the other dogs, being such bright dogs and having immense energy I think they are ideal for this. Socialised at a young age and you should have no problems.

Go with your gut instinct. you know it's wrong and I would 100% report it to the mentioned campaigners (puppy love) do not underestimate their cause, they are committed to their cause and they do indeed bring about change (I know personally) and cannot stress how fantastic their work is to stop...
