My cakes were one of the main reasons my old YO hated me 😆 She was very hard to please....apparently being tidy & friendly weren't what she wanted in her liveries!
Thank you MM-was a bit suprised when friend told me her pup was chipped by the breeder when they were there collecting him....I thought that would be a vet only job!
He is the exact age my boy made it to & he'd been in my life since he was 5 & I was 7. Growing up together and spending that amount of time with each other is such a blessing. Well done for making what definitely sounds like the right decision. You do just know when the time is right xx
I've been following your other thread & just wanted to say that you sound like an amazing owner. He is lucky to have you. Sadly it sounds like PTS is going to be the kindest thing for him & awfully hard for you :-(
I lost my chap aged 28 after having him in my life for over 23 years-& it was...
Had to do this at Hickstead once with a stallion-they hadn't got a suitable stable left for him when we turned up so we took all the partitions out & bedded the back down. He cribbed....you can imagine how much sleep we got as the box rocked from side to side!!!!
I had my heart broken when I lost my boy-he'd been my best friend for 23 years & we grew up together. It was pointless getting another-i'm sure one day there will be another one, but not for a very very long time.
