A small rant about thanking drivers

Touch wood, every rider I've passed has been very courteous and polite! Wish I could say the same for cyclists...but that's another thread. Pedantic kind of sums it up

    What would you do

I would ask for at least the amount of deposit required for the transport. I'd also travel there as well

How do I get fit enough to ride 20k?

Cut out all rubbish food and drink. Eat well, eat healthily, eat a balanced diet. If it's not grown or an animal - don't eat it. Swimming, cycling, extra yard work, if you're a gym member maybe talk to a trainer about your physical issues and work together to come up with a fitness plan...

Please help - would you buy this?

Yes I would be interested in this and would be willing to pay. There may be similar apps around, however not all are exactly the same, and many have different features. Depending upon features and user-friendliness, I'd be willing to pay up to £1.20 (as long as there were no 'extras' I had to buy)

Daily Mail article on dodgy dealers

Glad to see 'Annie' is being taken to court! She's got away with it for so long. I can't believe the vet isn't yet struck off!

what would you pay for this horse...

If he does actually hack alone and in company and fantastic in traffic I would pay £1500 for him

    Should we buy another one?

She has been given great advise, suggestions, support and food for thought, as everyone seems to agree.

    Should we buy another one?

This. I know many probably won't agree, but you choose to get on this horse and hack on public roads, knowing he can be uncontrollable at times. What WOULD you do should he cause an accident in which someone was killed or seriously hurt? He is not a first horse. You said you are a happy...

Advice re trialling pony before buying

I would offer a trial at your yard. I had a 2 week trial with my last boy at the then owners yard. I got to see how he was when he was settled, and get to know him a little bit. I think any new owner would expect a change in behaviour when moving a horse. If I was selling I would not let...

Anyone had any experiences with Willow Farm in Kent?

Luci07 is actually pretty much correct - it is standard procedure. How rude are you

Do potters abattoir sell healthy horses?

No problem! I would also be quite hurt. It's basically bullying. I noticed the same on another thread of yours too. Keyboard warriors! :)

Do potters abattoir sell healthy horses?

I must admit I did roll my eyes after reading the OP and declined to comment on such a question. However, dear me what an attack on another human being! OP has accepted the fact that a rescue centre would be the way to go. You do get fuzzy animal lovers that want to rescue everything with a...
