Thank you for letting me know this. In my experience you're dead right about the quality. Mine has outshone the Albions, Jaguar and Ideal I've previously owned by far. Out of interest, do you happen to know where their main export market is, I wonder...
I have a Frank Baines Pirouette dressage saddle that I'm trying sell but it has been rejected by three of the main online saddle sale platforms (eg The Saddle Bank). So is this just because Frank Baines saddles are no longer fashionable? Shame, as it's a very comfortable, beautifully made item...
My feed bowls and large trugs (used as stable water bucket) have given up the ghost after 3 years as each one now has a broken handle. Can anyone recommend a brand of really strong food-grade trugs that are flexible so handles don't snap in cold temperatures?
Finally I managed to submit a complaint form online to the BBC. I have requested a response and to be alerted when the problem is fixed. I'm not holding my breath...
I just tried to fill in the BBC online complaint form about the non-functioning dressage catch-up video and guess what, the online complaint form doesn't work either, ha ha. I may just have to phone them. I've found this number 03700 100 222 but be aware it may be chargeable depending on your...

I'd like to do some dressage to music this year. I have Garageband free software on my Macbook but I'm wondering if the free Audacity software might be better/easier to use? Please do let me know your thoughts if you have experience of using both?
I ended up getting the 55-58cm Uvex (ie the larger rather than the smaller one) which is perfect. I do ride with a pony tail so I needed the extra space. The harness mechanism is brilliant – super-adaptable and easy to use. The hat itself is really light and well vented. I'm never buying one...
I am after an adjustable hat as I much prefer the cycling helmet style for increased ventilation and lightness. My Ayr8 has always felt so heavy and bulky and hot.
My head measures 55cm and I'm trying decide whether to go for the Uvex 52-55cm size or the 55-58cm size of adjustable riding helmet which, like a cycling helmet, has almost no padding. My Charles Owen Ayr8 is 55cm and has quite a lot of fabric/padding inside. It fitted when I bought it but has...
