I last rode last Sunday, but didn't stay down the beach for long due to the freezing temperature, wind and hail stones! Both horses were little angels though despite the temperatures ??.
For jumping two foot in the air after a stray football hit me on the bum whilst I was happily eating grass after my mum gave me a pamper session up at the field?
My mate is lovely - loves a good fuss and is an angel to ride. She's 24, but definitely doesn't act her age. She's always been very vocal, but doesn't seem to get marish at all. She was in the riding school for 20 years, but loves beach rides and is quite good at dressage.
I fell off my friend's cob today - was going well and we were just about horrible off in canter in the top corner, when the arena pump went off, and Max bucked in fright! He's 23!
Thanks for your advice, going to go for the chaser clip, plus getting rid of her feathers :)! She's a little aAngel to clip - just stands there munching away, or falling asleep!
My Clydesdale X had turned into a teddy bear, so needs clipping. At 23 we still hack out and do schooling, and take part in the monthly dressage competitions on our yard. She lives out in a field with lots of natural shelter ( trees). Should I get Hannah to give her a trace, or a chaser clip?
Surely it's bad manners to turn horses out in the (connecting) outdoor arena whilst someone is riding in the indoor (with the arena doors open)?
I was riding a horse in the indoor this afternoon attempting to do dressage practice for tomorrow when a livery turned two horses out in the outdoor...
I'm fixed now :)! Had an appointment with the orthopaedic surgeon yesterday, and he said that my tibia and fibula have both mended (although the fistula has mended a bit wonky), and I am now fit to go back to work at the stables and ride :)!
Broke my leg (both tibia and fibula, with the globular being an open fracture) back in March, and the consultant said that I can't ride until the end of June. My birthday is in May, and I'm getting money to buy a new hat and riding boots.
Will I need boots to support my dodgy leg, and what...
