    Norfolk - Harleston

I am due to move to Harleston in Norfolk in July due to changing jobs. I will be looking for DIY or part livery for 4 horses and I don't know the area at all. Any suggestions wellcome. Good turnout necessary, a school would be a bonus but not a must.

    Today was the day :'(

I am sorry to hear about Jaffa. I put pts my old boy four weeks ago and know the hurt you are feeling. I got him as a foal and had him for 33 years, and he went from a sickly foal that no one wanted to pony teams with him. Making the decision is the hardest thing, even if you know in your heart...

    Lemieux vs. Nuumed numnahs

I like the lemieux numnahs a lot, a word of caution however: Do not use the black version on a grey horse they stain a lot if the horse sweets up.

Hi everyone, I need some help in re-backing my 5 yo Thoroughbred who is coming back into work after having been turned away for a prolonged time due to injury. Because of the injury, I am very reluctant to send him away and would prefer someone who could work with him at home. Any ideas...

Stable toys to keep horse entertained

My TB youngster manages to through a Likit in the holder in less then 20 min, but Uncle Jimmy's lickity thing ( I think that's the name) will keep him occupied for at least the 3 days, well worth the slightly higher price.

    Pergolide and/or Agnus Castus

Hi, my old boy has been cushinoid for several years and has been on Pergolide for several years (at least six). I initially pu him on Vitex in addition to the Pergolide, but took him of it again as it didn't seem to make any differnce. His laminitis is controlled well by Pergolide, but his coat...

Loosing a horse - whats the worst thing said to you?

Gingerwitch, just bear in mind that this person would made that comment obviously doesn't love her horse enough to be with him/her in the end when it counts, just because she can't be brave enough, is too selfish or too much of a coward.

    Cushings??

The symptoms you describe, the long coat and laminits attacks are typical of Cushings and sometimes the disease progresses slowly. You could always get your vet to repeat the bloods.
