Technically over a week, but once cottage organised, as sorting it to sell, may 'encourage' OH to go home early. When are you back??
How’s everyone’s foals doing ?
Dash( part bred Connie) is super cool . Very laid back and completely weaned now .
Have started weaning Cash , he’s got his potential new mum coming to see him on Saturday . So will wean him properly next week .
As we’ve been so thrilled with Dash , and with Cash potentially being sold thought I’d keep an eye out for a little friend for Dash .
In all honesty I’m loving watching the boys together. They play so well and are a joy to watch . So meet Dash’s half brother ( same sire ) He’s called Tulira Hyperion . Arrived last night and has settled right in with the boys
They are glorious @Xmasha shame about the sale. Your black ID has very similar star to my Fell if I was in the market for a youngster I could have matching little and large![]()
Thank you .. he knows it too !He’s so gorgeous!!
Aster is named, Snip n starlight for posh, registered, not for sale, and her official colour is brown! Still no photo though.
I just realised I haven't taken a single photo of our yearling since she was turned out away from the yard. She has a really pretty head, but the rest of her is looking like a typical yearling, awkward stage of growth spurts!
Lovely yearling Callies mum .How are all the yearlings doing?
C is looking good going into winter, super fluffy already (photo from September)
I think she’s standing around 15hh now at 19 months.
Been an absolute dream until a couple of months ago when she decided that she didn’t want her front feet picking up and drops to her kneesso currently working through that! Any other ideas for working working through this would be appreciated.
Hi Asha,Lovely yearling Callies mum .
Yearling tend to have odd growth spurts which can make balance a bit harder . So when picking feet up I make sure they have a wall to lean on . Just pick up and slowly place back down until they are able balance a bit better
