Sonia Martin told MailOnline: 'They were XL Bullies. There were eight of them in the house, six puppies and two adults. None of them neutered, not registered.

'The owner's words were "no one is going to tell me what to do with my own f*****g dogs."

I know this is going to get laughed at , but he his the most gentle dog I have owned , and being a farmers wife I have owned many dogs !
Infact it was my JRT that made the postie refuse to deliver our post. The little beast used to jump off the garden wall and attack him , whilst Marmaduke observed this mayhem and didn't get involved !

You're the exact sort of person that should never be in charge of a large, powerful breed.

I'm glad you aren't my neighbour.

When will these shit for brains bully owners realise that there's a reason for the control measures being introduced, and it's not simply a matter of the government 'bullying' their bullies?

So you proved you couldn’t even responsibly handle a JRT and then went out and bought a powerful dog of a breed known for its propensity to just flip out.

Wonderful.

Farmers wife means nothing as its clear you are completely incapable of being a responsible dog owner.

Farmers wife means nothing
What does this actually mean? Why say it? Does it denote some particular quality, position in life, superior status? A need to get your own identity from your OH's profession? Does anyone say I'm a refuse collector's wife, a postie's wife, a shop assistant's wife, a your choice of profession/job's wife etc?

Edited changed dustperson's wife to refuse collector's wife!

From the beeb

There were adult XL bully dogs in the property, and my mum had raised concerns to the owners about them being dangerous and quite aggressive," (the daughter) said. There were also six puppies."

Ms Martin said she believed the puppies had been fighting, when one of the dog's owners told her mother to "put a broom in among them". That's when she was attacked," she said.

I must say, I'm very confused about all the reporting. What is the relation between the lady that died and the dog's owners? Why was she in their house if she thought the dogs were dangerous?
I must also say that I hope they put the puppies down as well if they are related to the adult dogs that killed the poor lady. Those are not the kind of genes that anyone wants preserved.

She was boys grandmother, his mum is deceased so was it reads that he was at his dads house/dad is dog owner
Thanks. I find news paper articles rather confusing at times and I'm obviously not at full capacity today.
(the worst one I remember was a French article were a 67yo hunter shot a 67yo driver by accident and the reporter just kept referring to the "67yo man" so I didn't have a clue what was supposed to have happened)

Oh, what a surprise, not.

Of course the two adult drugs were not neutered: they are the parents of the puppies.

Of course the puppies were not neutered: they are too young for that.

Crikey, what passes for journalism in the Daily Fail should disappoint me. But I really can't work up the energy to be annoyed by it any more.

Surely the Daily Fail and journalism are oxymorons?

A small dog has been very sadly killed by 2 xl bullies in the village near to where we live today, this has been reported on the local fb page. The 2 dogs escaped the garden by demolishing the flimsy fence at the front of the house, and attacked the dog walking past on the pavement with the owner, who has injured hands and is in shock.

The police have been round and the dogs and the owners have disappeared. The dogs are not registered according to posts on fb and there were also puppies at the property. The property is near to an infant school. It has been mentioned that the same dogs recently attacked a girl, and that the bleddy things have previously killed one of the owners other dogs.

This is so sad, the poor boy lost his mother and has now lost his grandmother because his dad is an ignorant prick :'(
