I'm pleased to see Bubby finish. I don't like seeing anyone repeatedly bashed on. We've all ridden less than well at points. She gave the horse lots of pats all the way round which is more than a lot did.

I think people need to be careful with stats about eliminations and retirements as it doesn't take into account people being jumped off, the ground conditions (and weather tbf), and the start of the 2023 season. Plus the change in attitude of people choosing not to run in all types of ground for prep runs...

What you need is a fit horse that has hunted in all sorts of going. Back in the day many eventers were hunted. I think due to the absence of roads and tracks and the steeplechase, a lot of horses are not as fit as they were, and in normal circumstances they get away with it!

I think Ballaghmor Class looks good. He sometimes looks a bit light, but today he looks fit and strong.

Love Gemma, it doesn't sound like she enjoyed her time out there at all
