I rave about it all the time, but I have an acupressure mat. It helps me with stress and muscle aches and pain and insomnia.A study quoted in The Body Keeps the Score found that survivors of the attack on the World Trade Centre found acupuncture, massage, yoga and emdr were the most helpful ways to cope with their trauma. Can you book yourself in for some acupuncture or a massage?
It's bizarre and when I first tried it I thought, ouch! Not for me.
But I persevered and I fall asleep on it now
