That’s a wrap on the vet visits and antibiotics guys. Boggle has beautiful, clean lungs.

I think his main vet and I hugged about 5 times!

This weekend- back on board. What a horse to have recovered like this. He is truly special.

Fabulous news; well done everyone involved (including the bank/credit card lol). One lucky, strong pony!! :)

I feel like you always believed more than anyone he’d make a full recovery and you were right!

I am extremely lucky that some good work news this week means his vet bill is ok, and I don’t need to live off beans for the next few years 🥰

Sometimes.. just sometimes it all works out ok.

Aw, that is such good news about the big bill. :) I couldn't nor wouldn't believe your lovely pony would not recover - you are right. Horses are amazing and I am so glad too!!

Such excellent news! He looks wonderful! And even better new re the bills! Better have a large glass of something to celebrate!
I don't think I'd risk looping the lunge reins up, I'd put his riding reins on too and then take the lunge ones off. If anything happened you wouldn't want them getting caught up!

Oh gosh I meant looping them over my arms not still attached to him! To be honest, I’m just going to hop on. Probably bareback. Probably with no tack 🤣

Congratulations on either landing a big deal and the bonus that came with it, or the promotion!

When does the entry go in for your first event 😁

Definitely no promotion I’m a very small fish in a huge pond! But thank you 😃 I knew there was a reason I’ve worked my arse off for the last ten years, to fund Boggles bills 🙈.

On another note I think it was @tristar who said I may see changes in him post all this. Other than now tolerating fly spray he’s the same.. except…

He now, without fail, whinnies whenever he sees me. He used to sometimes. Now it’s every time. It’s only taken 7 years for him to finally decide he loves me too 🤣🤣

What brilliant news. Both that he’s better and the cherry on top that you don’t have to worry about the bills.

You really deserved for him to come right.

Can’t wait to follow your now continuing adventures over there.

What wonderful news Michen. I’m so happy for you (and Boggle as he does not seem like a horse who wants to retire anytime soon)
I hope you have someone to take a picture when you finally get on. I’m sure we all want to see that smile when you’re back on Bog.

With Boggle it was hard to imagine any other ending!!! Glad he appreciates all your efforts on his behalf - adversity certainly creates amazing bonds. So glad to read about his clear lungs.

Last long rein before I ride! Although I’ll continue it for longer hacks and do both. I actually really enjoy it! Funny because I last long reined him as a 5 year old and he was such a difficult, nappy, tricky little thing. As an 11 year old he’s just so cool.

Had to take some videos as the light this morning was just beautiful, this place sets my soul on fire. Excuse the constant clicking, trying to stop him eating grass. He needs a daisy rain!!
