I just saw Jonelle being interviewed and her stop watch didnt work after 3 seconds into her round

I'm the first to condemn a rider who is pushing and shoving a tired horse, but Oli was not chasing the clock, he was tactfully nursing a tired horse home. Unlucky knuckle on landing.

Horse shocked rather than broken, hopefully. It had been a great round up to then.

I've missed the last 10 minutes or so, left just after Oli's fall, but I'd say I'm impressed by the care most riders are taking of their horses this year. Fewer ouchie and scary moments.

I’m fairly sure they’d a similar fall at Badminton too?

They are giving all the horse fallers plenty of time to be cooled off and checked out on course. More short course holds to do this - good equine welfare.

Dropped his back legs in the middle of Cottesmore Leap and just looked flat. Commentators reckoned she could have got him home; and she'd gotten to the combo at the bottom of Winner's Avenue and was then stopped.
